We pride ourselves at Rodborough Playgroup on being an inclusive setting. We actively promote equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice, ensuring all our children and families feel included and valued.

Equality and inclusivity are central to our core value, and for good reason. Equality means being fair, respectful and recognising the individual needs and identities of all. Inclusivity recognises that every child is uniquely different and benefits from us all working together as a united community.

(flexible hours per week – term time only)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified, or unqualified Play Assistant to join our team as a bank/temporary worker.

We are a friendly, parent-run community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 yrs 6 months and 4 years. Our hours are generally between 8:15 and 15:00. The hourly rate is £8.72 with pay rise in April 2021 in line with national minimum wage increase.

Our staff team are extremely passionate about what they do and are all level 3 or working towards their qualifications in Early Years.

As a relief practitioner you will be expected to work shifts as and when required within all age groups and to develop your skills through working alongside practitioners who will be able to share best practice. Safeguarding children is our priority.

Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 is desirable but not essential as we will provide excellent in-house training which may open the door to an opportunity to gain further qualifications.

We have a coronavirus (COVID-19) policy and risk assessment to manage the risks of coronavirus in our setting which is available to view on the policies page of our website.

Application closing date: Monday 14th December 2020.
