Meet the team
Our Playgroup is a registered charity and non-profit. Our qualified Playgroup staff team are professional and nurturing and are supported by Rodborough Playgroup Committee, which is an elected group of volunteers who manage the business.
Jane Burrow
Playleader Manager
Jane is our Playleader Manager and started at Rodborough Playgroup in 2010. She is Level 6 qualified and acts as the settings Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) and Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Additionally, Jane is a qualified Forest School Leader and is helping us move towards in the moment planning.

Tammy Kerr
Administrator
Tammy joined Playgroup in 2016 as a part-time Administrator. She manages admissions, payroll, invoicing and other crucial jobs in Playgroups busy office.
Beth Marriot
Bank Play Assistant
Beth has been a regular bank play assistant since 2024. Both her children have attended Playgroup.
Vikki Wood
Deputy Playleader
Viki started at Rodborough Playgroup in 2023. She has 13 years of early years experience and is Level 3 qualified. She is also trained in first aid and child protection.

Zoe joined the Playgroup team in 2024.
Jo Duggan
Playleader Manager
“I have been connected to playgroup for several years now. Both my children attended the setting. First, I helped as a duty parent and joined the committee, doing some well needed fundraising. After my second child left, I started doing bank work, which eventually led to me doing a Level 3 apprenticeship in Early Years. It has been so rewarding being part of a thriving community playgroup in Stroud and seeing the kids grow and bring lots of fun and life to Rodborough and beyond. It helped me make some great friends as a grown up too.

Bank Play Assistant
Jane has been a regular bank play assistant since 2022.
Committee
Without a management committee Playgroup would not be able to operate. Our committee is made up of volunteer parents and staff members who are elected at our Annual General Meeting. The committee is also open to members of the local community, but our constitution (which is approved by the Charities Commission) states that the committee must be comprised of at least 40 % current parents.
